Mideast Talks Fail

After two weeks of intense talks over the future of the Middle East, Palestinians and Israelis have decided to stop negotiating about the key issue of Jerusalem. Despite President Clinton’s return to the negotiations at Camp David, talks on Jerusalem foundered to the point at which negotiators decided to shelve the contentious issue, at least for now, and focus on other issues.
